Bitumen emulsion K1-60 General Description
Bitumen Emulsion K1-60 is a rapid-setting cationic bitumen containing a minimum of 57% Bitumen. It is a medium-viscosity, cold-applied, liquid emulsion primarily used for tack coating in normal overlay and patching work.
This emulsion is chocolate brown and free-flowing at ambient temperatures. It is manufactured according to Malaysian Standard MS 1.61 (1994) and British Standard BS 434 Part 1.
K1-60 is a water-based product, ready for immediate use, and conforms to the requirements of BS 434: Part 1, it is ideal for use in road construction and repair applications, offering a reliable bonding solution between existing surfaces and new overlays, including hot rolled asphalt, macadam, and slurry seals.
