Bitumen penetration grade 60/90 is semi-hard penetration grade bitumen using as paving grade bitumen suitable for road construction and repair conjointly for the production of asphalt pavements with below technical specifications.
This grade of bitumen is mainly used in the manufacture of hot combine asphalt for bases and wearing courses. Bitumen 60/70 is the most used bitumen grade and basic material for all alternative bituminous products.
Application of Bitumen Penetration Grade 60/90
The bitumen penetration grade 60/90 is a semi-hard penetration grade, with penetration between 60 and 90. Which is mostly used in road construction, asphalt pavement, and manufacturer of hot-mix asphalt.
The penetration bituminous asphalt with high penetration numbers which are soft, mostly used in cold weather conditions and hard bituminous asphalt (low penetration number) can be used for warm weather conditions.
Bitumen 60/90 Specification
Kiapetro guarantees that the Bitumen Grade 60/90 is produced in compliance and conformity to International of European Standard DIN EN 12591:99, also meets the requirements of the following specification.
