CRS1 emulsion bitumen is a cationic early breaking emulsion. CRS-1 bitumen emulsion is usually made by passing a mixture of hot bitumen and water phase between a rotating disk, cone or wheel and a stator.
Unstable quick-breaking emulsion bitumen on the surface of the material breaks very quickly and leaves a very thin layer of bitumen.
Application of CRS-1 emulsion bitumen
Their main use is in sealing with stone materials, sealing with sand, surface asphalts and penetrating macadam.
In order not to flow on the surface of the road, quick-breaking emulsion bitumen has a high mental retardation.
